Introduction
Hey people, my name is Marjorie. I am based in Ireland and work from Dublin. I was born and raised in Brazil, but my father was from Spain, so I’m a Brazilian who takes the siesta and a Spanish who knows how to “sambar.” I love to discover new cultures, new languages, and new places. A fun fact about me is that beaches are my favorite place in the world, but I don’t know how to swim, at least not yet.
Tell us about your journey to DoiT/ How have you grown in your career here at DoiT?
I’m a Workspace Specialist here at Doit, and I started primarily interested in building my career around cloud. With time, I had the opportunity to work with all EMEA markets, which I didn’t before, and this brought me a lot of experience in business with each culture. Also, I’ve been growing and specializing myself on the technical part, not only in commercial deals or building relationships, but because of the fast paced environment. I can deal with technical issues, and learn from them, and this helps me to win customer trust during the process.
So, more than specializing in the area that I have always been interested in, my journey at Doit has provided me with experience with multicultural clients and leveraging my technical knowledge on the subject. And I couldn’t leave the amazing team that I have that makes my work environment safe and supportive.
What does a day in your life look like?
My primary job is to be the point of contact for SMB workspace customers, which means that I have to deal with vendors, internal requesters, and clients. My job deals not only with customers' goals but also provides the best experience alongside Do’ers and Vendors.
