What Makes DoiT a best place to work company?

DoiT is a globally distributed, fully remote company that prides itself on culture. We do a few things particularly well: practicing continuous management, prioritizing 20/20 visibility, allowing for autonomy, and investing in personal development.  Being a fully remote organization allows us to have the flexibility for our Do’ers in how they choose to have a true life-work balance. We offer greater flexibility and unlimited PTO (containing built-in mental health days, vacation and volunteer time). This allows our team members to maximize their impact while living and working how they prefer so they can be fully present in their personal and professional lives.  

We are also committed to building a diverse global team and celebrating everyone's uniqueness. This is incredibly important because it creates an environment of psychological safety and inclusion.  When this happens, our Do’ers are more open to sharing their unique perspectives and experiences that drive innovation, development, change, and engagement.

Diversity and Inclusion

The Diversity and Inclusion SIG is open to everyone. We focus on monthly topics and provide resources before meetings like TedTalks or articles to ensure we have fruitful discussions around the chosen topic for the month. We also prep to celebrate international and local holidays and causes that are meaningful to Do'ers here. The intention is to increase awareness of how we can all contribute to making DoiT a welcoming place through our actions, words, and sharing our experiences.

Offering Doer’s the opportunity to engage and exchange on topics around mindfulness to recharge, cultivate self awareness, being thoughtful instead of reactive under pressure, reducing stress, align action with intention, better understand our own why and how, as well as feeling connected.

Unconference

An unconference is a participant-driven meeting. The term "unconference" has been applied, or self-applied, to a wide range of gatherings that try to avoid hierarchical aspects of a conventional conference, such as sponsored presentations and top-down organization. Our mission is to promote bottom-up cross-department knowledge sharing.

The scope of this SIG is to facilitate discussion and align DoiT’s CRE team on how to deliver Machine Learning consulting, training and support to customers. Be a point of contact for ML initiatives inside DoiT. Represent DoiT to external partners and promote DoiT’s ML practice via blogs, webinars and conferences.
