Environmental Stewarship

DoiT is dedicated to minimizing our environmental footprint and contributing to a healthier planet. We strive to:

  • Promote sustainable practices within our organization and among our partners.

  • Actively pursue innovative solutions that contribute to a more sustainable world.

  • Collaborate with organizations and customers dedicated to creating sustainable environmental change.

As a fully remote company, our carbon footprint is significantly lower on a global scale. Remote work cuts greenhouse gas emissions by 54%, according to an article written by The Guardian with research completed by Cornell University and Microsoft. In comparison, hybrid models have been seen to reduce emissions within a range of 12-29%. This clearly sets the precedent that remote work has the biggest impact on greenhouse emissions and should continue to be the guiding example. We also have a global equipment recycling program in which we take gently used machines and donate them to local charities or schools supporting education programs for underprivileged kids. We understand there is much more that can be done, and we will continuously look for opportunities to promote new practices and bring about positive change.

Giving Back with Good Do’er Days

Good Do’er Days - our team is given four days a year (to give back to their local community in some charitable action or service. We have had Do’ers help clean up beaches and roads, help give meals to the homeless, and so much more. So far in 2024, we have donated over 520 hours of community service across our global teams.
